Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a leading renewable energy provider that specialise in development and operation of Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK. We are recruiting an Organics Manager to support their business model across their plants mainly in England.
The Organics Manager role comes with a salary up to £40,000, plus car allowance, excellent company benefits and hybrid working.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Commercial you will:
Manage contractors and identify new clients to maximise the beneficial use and financial return of biofertilizer
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including environmental and farming regulations
Negotiate biofertilizer supply contracts with local farmers
Identify and develop suitable storage locations
Manage and audit contractors, ensuring adherence to budgets, revenue targets, and relevant contractual/compliance obligations
Collaborate with key suppliers to drive value, maintain compliance, and enhance brand growth
Optimise site operations and oversee the transport of materials from production sites to clients
Manage accounts, ensuring alignment with budgets, revenue targets, and contractual obligations
Advise clients on the proper use of materials to ensure compliance with certification scheme requirements
Represent the company at internal meetings and external conferences
Willing to travel to clients regularly
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Current and valid FACTS qualification (preferably), working towards it, or have the capability/desire to achieve it
Experienced in applying recycling materials for land or agricultural benefit
At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
Knowledgeable of Anaerobic Digestion, biogas and feedstock processes
Full UK Driving license

Salary and benefits of the Organics Manager role
Salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
Car allowance
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
