Organisational Effectiveness Director Fixed term contract for 18 months Based in London with travel required to sites nationally Hybrid working available Salary: £90,550k which includes £3k London Weighting Are you a passionate leader dedicated to making a meaningful impact? This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic Senior Leadership Team at a pivotal moment for Refuge. Role Purpose As the Organisational Effectiveness Director, you will play a critical role in refining processes and implementing strategies that maximise our client's impact. Collaborating closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, you will lead and develop change and business improvement projects that drives operational efficiencies and maximises impact. Key Accountabilities Lead strategic initiatives and deliver programmes to enhance organisational performance and impact. Oversee implementation of processes, structures, and technology tools to improve service delivery. Develop strong programme governance and implement effective risk management strategies. Assess and redesign internal processes to improve case and project management and enhance cross-team collaboration. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including survivors, colleagues, volunteers, funders and policy makers to ensure transformation projects reflect the unique needs of survivors. Driving organisational development initiatives, including training, to embed new mindsets, capabilities, systems, and processes across the workforce. Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and are engaged with the transformation journey. Develop and track performance metrics to measure impact and success. Candidate Requirements Demonstrable experience in leading transformation programmes with a strong focus on business change and organisational development practices. Understanding of safeguarding policies and ethical data management. Strong programme and project management skills with experience in frameworks like Prince2, Managing Successful Programmes, Organisational Systems Coaching, Agile or Lean Six Sigma. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and engage varying internal and external stakeholders including survivors and vulnerable individuals. Excellent communication skills with experience in reporting, business case development and presenting to senior leaders and external stakeholders. Previous experience of working in organisation delivering care or support to beneficiaries is preferred but not essential.
