Electrical Control Panel Wirer – Normanton
£13.75 - £14.75 per hour (DOE)
Full-Time | Early Finish Fridays!

Our client is a long-established leader in the electrical control systems industry. With decades of expertise and a reputation for excellence, they design and build bespoke control panels for a diverse range of clients—from blue-chip giants to specialist SMEs.
Due to continued growth, they're on the lookout for an experienced Control Panel Wirer to join their close-knit, high-performing production team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Independently building and wiring low-voltage control panels
Reading and working from schematic wiring diagrams
Sizing, cutting and crimping cables to high standards
Spotting and resolving production issues
Keeping clear and accurate production records
⭐ What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Experience wiring electrical control panels
Confident working from schematic diagrams
Strong cable prep and panel build skills
Good problem-solving on the shop floor
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
Desirable:
Experience with point-to-point testing
On-site modification and repair work
ECS or CSCS card (a plus, not essential)
The Ideal Candidate:
Takes pride in their work and attention to detail
Works well independently and hits deadlines
A proactive problem-solver
Has a team mindset with good communication
Working Hours:
Mon to Thurs: 06:30 – 15:30 (30-min lunch + 10-min break)
Friday: 07:00 – 12:00 (10-min break)
