Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well-known organisation in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, who are looking to recruit a part time Accounts Assistant into their team (3 days per week).
As the business continues to be a leader in their field, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant who is either currently or looking to study, ideally CIMA/ACCA.
What will you be doing?
Assist with the weekly production of the accounts
Producing key details for the weekly pack
Reviewing costs and explaining variances to stakeholders across the business, in a meaningful and easy to understand way
Creating weekly and monthly journals
Business partnering with Operations to ensure they are aware of the cost of their drivers
Reviewing of weekly operations trackers and liaising with Operations to resolve any discrepancies
Balance sheet reconciliations
Raising purchase orders and liaising with external suppliers
The Accounts Assistant will deal with ad hoc queries What skills are we looking for?
Ideally studying AAT/CIMA/ACCA
Ability to work in a busy environment
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Be comfortable working under pressure What's on offer?
£26,000 per annum pro-rata
