Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic PE teacher dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of physical activity and healthy lifestyles in young people? Our Outstanding school in the vibrant borough of Barking, London, is seeking a passionate Full-Time Teacher of PE to join our dedicated and well-resourced PE department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the health and well-being of students within the Barking community.
In this rewarding full-time role, you will:
* Cultivate a Love of Physical Activity: Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially 5, fostering a deep appreciation for the benefits of exercise, teamwork, and sportsmanship relevant to the diverse interests of students in Barking.
* Develop Fundamental Movement Skills: Equip students with essential movement skills, promoting physical literacy and confidence in a range of activities.
* Contribute to a Culture of Health and Well-being: Support and potentially lead extracurricular sports clubs and initiatives, enriching the physical activity opportunities within our Barking school.
* Collaborate with a Dedicated PE Team: Work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to a vibrant and supportive department.
* Thrive in a Dynamic East London Borough: Engage with students from diverse backgrounds in the active and community-focused borough of Barking.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced PE teacher with a passion for working with young people and a strong understanding of the PE curriculum.
