About the PE Department:
The PE department is a collaborative and energetic team that promotes fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students regularly compete in regional competitions, and the department has a strong reputation for high achievement and engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Teach Physical Education across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons
• Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures
• Take on pastoral duties, including form tutor responsibilities
• Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
• A degree in Physical Education or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level
• Ability to teach KS5 is desirable
• ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported
