SUMMARY
A dynamic and results driven innovative Independent School in Enfield are seeking to appoint a PE Teacher to join them from September. This role is full time, term time and permanent. The post holder will be required to teach up to A Level/KS5.
THE ROLE
The principal is seeking a forward-thinking PE Teacher with the below qualities
* Planning and leading PE lessons that cover various sports and fitness activities.
* Teaching fundamental movement skills like running, jumping, throwing, and catching.
* Encouraging teamwork and fair play, helping students develop communication and cooperation skills.
* Ensuring student safety during physical activities and preventing injuries.
* Evaluating student performance and providing feedback to help them improve.
* Organising school sports events and coaching teams for competitions.
* Promoting a healthy lifestyle by educating students on fitness and nutrition.
* Communicating with parents about their child's progress in physical education.
THE PE DEPARTMENT
PE is a popular choice at the school and forms a key part of pupils physical, social and mental wellbeing as well as supporting their physical development. The curriculum is broad and diverse giving pupils a huge variety of sports within their PE and Games lessons including football, hockey, netball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, rounders, fitness, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, tennis athletics, yoga, basketball, fencing, horse riding and plenty more!

The school boast a state-of-the-art football pitch as well as a second sports field and have an excellent outdoor multi use sports area with luxurious changing rooms.
