Job Description
An Outstanding secondary school based in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join their high-achieving Science department.
The position is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, starting in September 2025.
This is a full-time role, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will be paid in line with the Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale.
The school offers on-site parking and is well-connected by public transport.
Physics Teacher - Hillingdon, Outer London
Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level for suitable candidates.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, scientific thinking, and a deep understanding of the physical world.
Support students of all abilities in reaching their full academic potential through differentiated instruction and effective assessment.
Contribute to the wider life of the Science faculty, including enrichment activities and extra-curricular science events.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic standards, supporting the school's ethos of excellence and inclusion.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
