Pipe fitter Welder - TIG
Daventry, NN11 4HB
3no. vacancies, 6 month contract which may lead to further work.
This multi-national company offers in depth expertise in the key activities of electrical installation, mechanical & piping and process control. Covering all the major industrial process sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors or major engineering firms. With the primary aim of meeting client's needs and optimising their industrial performance, the company builds on a broad range of expertise, successful track record and an extensive network of technical designers, fabricators and installation engineers. With this in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter welder - TIG to join the company supporting a major project in Daventry, Northamptonshire NN11 4HB.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter welder - TIG, you will be working on site at a major food production facility in Daventry, Northamptonshire,NN11 4HB. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding schedule 10 and schedule 40 mild steel and stainless steel pipework 2" up to 8" diameter, along with 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework. Other duties will include manufacturing brackets and the associated pipe supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About You
Based ideally in Daventry, Northamptonshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of NN11 4HB.
Demonstrable experience of pipe fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential for this role.
You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up.
