Passenger Lift
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Overtime, Travel Time, Call-Out, Standby, Paid
Areas Considered: Oxford, Reading, Marlborough, Swindon, Aylesbury, Slough, Cirencester, Basingstoke, Winchester, Bath, Salisbury, Andover, Woking, Farnborough, and surrounding.
REClifts is recruiting on behalf of a global lift company for at least one experienced Platform Lift Engineer to join their expanding UK team. This is a great opportunity to work with a respected leader in the platform lift sector.
We're keen to speak to multi-skilled engineers from similar fields such as:
Passenger Lift Engineers
Automatic Door Engineers (with shutter, gate, or loading bay experience)
Dumb Waiter / Dock Leveller Engineers
The Role:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on platform lift systems
Attend breakdowns and call-outs (on-call rota participation required)
One-day platform lift installations (occasional overnight stays - approx. once per month)
Complete service reports and flag follow-up work requirements
Work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
What We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 2 in Platform Lift Engineering (or relevant trade qualifications) - Preferred
Experience with Liftup, Barduva, Extrema, Motala, Aritco, Cibes - Preferred
Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Willingness to undergo product and safety training
