Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a specialist school in Chorley to appoint a PMLD Teaching Assistant from April 2025. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and PMLD.
The ideal candidate will hold a teaching assistant qualification, previous experience working with personal care and additional needs in a school or SEN setting.
This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year with a competitive salary.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Hold teaching qualification (desirable)
Hold previous experience working with individuals who have Special Education Needs
Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
