Job Description

An opportunity has risen to join a team designing high-integrity power electronics for advanced actuation systems used in cutting-edge global products. Support the full lifecycle from feasibility and design to testing, integration, and production-working on motor control, feedback systems, and flight-critical hardware. The integral part in delivering the power electronics that control our Actuation Systems - driving and controlling motors that manoeuvre fins and ultimately provide controlled movement to our products. What we can offer you: Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year) Pension: Maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14% Overtime: Opportunity for paid overtime Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days Flexible working: We welcome applicants who are looking for flexible working arrangements Enhanced parental leave: Offers up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave. Responsibilities: * Design, prototype, and test motor control and control system hardware * Support projects from concept through certification and production * Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to meet quality and performance goals What We're Looking For: * Degree-qualified with a solid background in electronic design * Experience in power electronics and delivering robust, high-integrity solutions * Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration skills * Background in safety-critical or high-security industries preferred
