💼 The Role: Pre-Construction Manager
You’ll lead the early stages of critical infrastructure schemes, shaping safe, cost-effective and sustainable solutions before ground is even broken.
Your Mission:
*
Take the reins on pre-construction activities—from concept to handover
*
Collaborate with clients, designers, engineers and planners to deliver smart, risk-aware solutions
*
Drive value and innovation while ensuring compliance, constructability and safety
*
Provide design leadership and engineering oversight across multiple disciplines
*
Support tendering, commercial strategy, and stakeholder alignment
*
Deliver pre-construction excellence that sets up projects for success
👷 What You Bring:
Essential:
*
Proven experience in project/design leadership in civil engineering
*
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
*
Familiarity with CDM regulations, contract conditions and planning tools like Primavera P6
*
Strong commercial acumen and collaborative approach
*
Great communicator, critical thinker and problem solver
Desirable:
*
Professional chartership
*
Experience in frameworks like Affinity Water
