Press Brake Setter / Operative – Precision Engineering – Permanent Role – £26K–£34K DOE + Shift Allowance – Nottingham

A well-established and expanding fabrication business in Nottingham is on the lookout for a skilled Press Brake Setter / Operative to join their afternoon shift team. What you’ll be doing (but not limited to):
*
Setting and operating Trumpf CNC Press Brake machines to precise specifications
*
Reading and interpreting technical drawings to set up accurate jobs
*
Working with stainless steel and other metals, folding components to tight tolerances
*
Performing quality checks during production to maintain standards
*
Keeping a clean, safe work environment, following all health and safety procedures
*
Supporting wider production where needed and being a key part of a collaborative team
What’s in it for you?

£26,000 – £34,000 per year (based on experience)
*
+£1 shift allowance per hour (first 40 hours)
*
Overtime available
*
Time and a Half anything over 40 hours
*
Double Time on Sundays
*
Permanent, full-time position with immediate start available

Afternoon shift – Monday to Friday
*
Flexibility available for rotational AM/PM if preferred
*

What you’ll need to succeed:

Experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operative

Familiarity with Trumpf press brakes
*
Comfortable working with stainless steel and to tight tolerances
*
Attention to detail and a quality-first approach
*
Experience with Power Press equipment is a bonus
*
A team player who’s ready to hit the ground running
