Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter Operator to join a leading sheet metal company based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term, stable position with full training and development available for the right candidate.
Location: Northampton
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
Duties:
Setting and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
Conducting quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specification
Adjusting machine settings for different materials, thicknesses, and designs
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Logging production output and reporting any defects or non-conformances
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targetsThe ideal candidate must:
Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
A good understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
High attention to detail and quality
A proactive and reliable approach to work
