Are you a talented Toolmaker looking for your next challenge? We have an incredible opportunity for you to join a leading team in the precision engineering sector!
Location: Birmingham
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture, maintain, and repair tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Inspect and test completed tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Toolmaker, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment with both Single Op and Progression tooling.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, grinding, turning, and EDM.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Skilled in using hand tools and measuring equipment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus, but not essential.Why Join Us?
