Location: Preston | Pay: £90 - £110 per day | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with autism and delivering personal care? If so, we want to hear from you!
TeacherActive is working in partnership with a specialist education provider in the Preston area, catering to children and young people with complex needs including autism. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive team, starting this September.
The Role:
Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs
Assisting with personal care as required
Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a holistic approach to education
Helping create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Contributing to pupils’ educational and emotional development
About You:
Experience supporting children or young adults with autism is essential
Comfortable with delivering personal care
Able to work collaboratively as part of a committed and nurturing team
Patient, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference
Available full-time from September and interested in a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity
