A school in Cleethorpes is seeking a motivated Primary ECT to join their team and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Primary ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. You will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be crucial in helping pupils develop essential skills and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary ECT:
Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring pupils make excellent progress.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to learn.
Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs, ensuring all pupils are challenged and engaged.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
Work closely with class teachers and support staff to enhance the learning experience for all pupils.
Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and development.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
Primary ECT Requirements:
A relevant degree in Primary Education or a closely related field, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A passion for child-centred learning and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a structured yet dynamic learning environment.
Ability to use assessment data effectively to inform planning and drive pupil progress.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
