Key responsibilities
Planning and Delivering Lessons: Develop engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
Classroom Management: Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and behave responsibly.
Support and Guidance: Offer emotional, social, and academic support to students, identifying and addressing any individual learning needs.
Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a supportive environment.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience as a primary school teacher, preferably within the relevant year group(s).
Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Passionate about creating a positive learning environment and promoting the well-being of students.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
Hold a valid DBS or be happy to have one put in process
