Are you an experienced and passionate Primary SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity?
Tradewind Recruitment are in partnership with an independent specialist school near Bridgnorth which supports young people aged 8 to 18 years with a range of complex needs. We are seeking an experienced and empathetic SEN teacher who is primary trained.
The school provides a safe, nurturing, and highly personalised learning environment for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). The majority of students have a primary need relating to: Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Anxiety and Emotionally Based School Avoidance and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH).
This is a full-time role to start ASAP.
Requirements:
Proven experience teaching students with SEN, particularly in primary settings
Strong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to differentiate effectively
Creativity, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships
A commitment to child-centred practice and inclusive education
