Primary Teacher
Pay: £152-£212 per day (paid to scale) | Hours: Full Time | Start Date: ASAP or 04/09/2025
Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Are you an experienced qualified primary school teacher? Or an ECT looking for your first teaching role?
Long Term Futures are working alongside multiple schools in South Birmingham, who are seeking Primary Teachers for long-term roles available immediately and for the new academic year.
We are supporting a number of schools across South Birmingham who require Primary Class Teachers for full-time, long-term positions. The roles involve teaching across a variety of Key Stages, based at one school, and for the right candidate, will lead to a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to pupils across the primary age range.
Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
Differentiate planning to meet a range of needs within the class.
Work professionally with a classroom Teaching Assistant, delegating tasks and supporting targeted children.
Take a lead role in meetings with parents/carers, either virtually or in-person.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
Excellent classroom behaviour management skills.
Ability to support and meet the needs of SEN pupils within the class.
An engaging, positive, and empathetic teaching style.
