Job Overview:
A School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging classroom environment, delivering the curriculum, and fostering the intellectual, emotional, and social development of primary-aged children. Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum to meet the learning needs of all students.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages active participation and respectful behaviour.
Student Assessment: Assess and monitor student progress through various formative and summative assessments and provide feedback to students and parents.
Support Student Development: Foster an environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each student.
Collaboration: Work with other staff members to create a cohesive and inclusive school culture, contributing to school events and extracurricular activities.
Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices and stay updated with educational trends.
Qualifications and skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education (or related field); relevant teaching certifications.
Experience: Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is preferred, though newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
Ability to create engaging, interactive, and differentiated lessons.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
