Year 2 Class Teacher - Primary School - Kettering
Simply Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Kettering that is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator to work in a positive environment, helping Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils develop their skills and achieve their potential. The position is available to start in the coming weeks, with both full-time and part-time options available to suit your work-life balance.
The Role:
As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and motivate young learners.
Support pupils' development across the curriculum, catering to individual learning needs.
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and assess progress, providing constructive feedback to help pupils achieve their best.
Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's development is supported.
Contribute to the school's positive ethos and collaborative culture.What We're Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
✅ Experience or a passion for working with Key Stage 1 children.
✅ Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
✅ Creativity, patience, and adaptability in lesson delivery.
✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
✅ A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children's well-being and learning.
Essential Requirements:
