Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer
Location: Dorset or Berkshire to suit candidate
Salary Range: £55,000 to £70,000
About the Role:
My client, an award-winning engineering consultancy, is seeking a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team in either Bournemouth or Reading. This role involves supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects including office space, commercial, healthcare, residential and mission-critical.
Development of initial strategic concepts ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Attendance at project meetings and translating briefs within the project team.
Monitoring fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered.
Mentoring and supporting apprentices and graduates.About You:
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
Familiarity with modern technical delivery processes and relevant software/tools (BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, Relux).
Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design-oriented role.
Self-awareness and open-mindedness
Ability to support others in developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence.Core Benefits:
