Principal EC&I Engineer (Engineering Lead) – Sheffield – Hybrid – up to £70,000 + Car Allowance
The Role
A Principal EC&I Engineer / Engineering Lead is required to take lead on the team & design processes on a range of groundbreaking projects in a range of heavy engineering industries. You will be joining a well-established engineering consultancy.
You will be providing expertise on design & electrical control processes, provide leadership & mentorship to junior team members, continuous improvement & ensure that all projects and processes are fully compliant with industry regulations.

What makes you a good fit?
Extensive experience in designing electrical control systems for heavy industry or any large moving structures.
Experience with associated field equipment, Motors, Sensors, Limit Switches, Lasers etc.
Hold overall responsibility for project documentation and project milestones.
Experience with leadership and mentoring junior team members
Desirable – knowledge of EN6024 and UL5088
