White Label Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Piping Designer to join fast growing and dynamic team in the Chester Area, If you have a minimum of 10 years' experience in piping design, with a strong background in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Projects, we want to hear from you. Your passion, technical prowess, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Principal Piping Designer, your responsibilities will include:
* Producing and coordinating 3D piping designs, plant layouts, isometrics, and pipe support drawings.
* Leading small teams and providing administrative oversight of assigned piping personnel.
* Providing piping design and drafting services for piping systems.
* Utilising Autodesk Plant 3D for accurate 3D modelling.
* Maintaining CAD and equipment files.
* Completing site survey activities to gather information.
* Ensuring all drafting and design requirements are met.
* Promoting quality control and participating in regular quality audits.
* Reviewing vendor data for a wide range of piping equipment.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in Piping Design Engineering.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Recap, Navisworks, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Experience with 3D design using Plant 3D and Navisworks.
* Strong knowledge of Industry Piping Codes and materials commonly used.
* Background in piping layouts and design procedures.
* Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry.

* Working Hours: 40 hours (flexitime from 7 am to 6 pm)
* Holiday: 28 days including 8 days of Bank Holidays, increasing with service.
* Overtime: Paid at an hourly rate equivalent and can be exchanged for time off.
* Travel: Hotel and food expenses paid, mileage at £0.45 per mile.
