Senior/principal Piping engineer
We require 10-15 years’ experience of UK North Sea, onshore or offshore, Brownfield and Greenfield projects. Highly developed skills in delivering engineering phases including estimations of costs and man-hours, design, evaluating drawings, performing calculations, and planning installation activities in alignment with SOW. We need a sound understanding of engineering materials, ASME, EN, ASTMs, API, PD-8010, PED, and BS codes and standards. Conduct model, round table, and constructability reviews and the ability to prepare survey SOWs
The assignment will last for an initial 6 months but very likely to be extended – you will be pivotal in that!
Applicants must be resident in the UK and have a demonstrable background in UK North Sea oil & gas FEED and detailed design. Ideally with a mechanical engineering degree. Plant 3D experience is also essential.
Preference would be on a limited company basis. Average 45 hours per week with potential for regular overtime as required. Ideally you will stay within a reasonable commute to Glasgow, Aberdeen or Teesside
