Job Description
Are you an experienced Plumber with your gas safe registration card? Our client is looking for a Plumber to join their team working in Manchester City Centre! This is a 3 month temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Job Title: Prison Plumber
Role Specific Requirement:
Required checks EL1 or EL2
Full Driving Licence
Appropriate trade qualification
Gas safe registration card
Legionella Control (L8)Please note, due to the nature of these roles it is a requirement for all candidates to undergo National Security Vetting. For this, it is a requirement to have a minimum of 3 years' continuous residency within the UK.
Main Purpose: To ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme is completed in line with specifications and Work Packages. Please note, this role will be working within a prison environment.
37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 7.5 hour shift per day between the hours of 7am - 5pm.Person Requirements:
Experience:
Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
Experience in operating light plantResponsibilities:
Routine and non-routine maintenance
Fault finding
Identification of life expired equipment
Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment
Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
Mains water supply repairs
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
