Private Client Solicitor
Newcastle
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum
We’re looking for someone brilliant to join our clients Private Client team.
If you’ve got experience in wills, LPAs, probate or estate admin and you genuinely care about helping people through what can be a really emotional time this could be a great fit for you.
You’ll be trusted to run your own caseload (wills, estate planning, trusts, etc.), help clients in a really hands-on way, and play a part in building lasting relationships with both individuals and local referrers. If you’ve worked with trusts too, that’s a bonus but not essential.
This isn’t just a “turn the handle” role. We’re looking for someone who’s motivated, thoughtful and keen to grow both professionally and as part of a close-knit team. You’ll be supported by the Managing Partner and be part of shaping the future of the department.
What you’ll be doing:
* Running your own files and advising clients from start to finish.
* Drafting wills, setting up LPAs, and managing probate and estate admin cases.
* Helping build long-term relationships with clients, families, and local partners.
* Taking client calls, responding to queries and giving clear, honest advice.
* Working as part of the wider team, but confident to get on with things independently.
* Keeping everything organised, compliant and in line with the SRA and Law Society rules.
What we’re looking for:
* Someone experienced in Private Client work whether you’re a Solicitor, Legal Exec, or Paralegal with a strong background.
* Confident dealing with people from all walks of life.
* Comfortable using your own initiative and managing your own workload.
* Good communication skills, written and verbal.
* Friendly, organised, and happy to muck in with the team.
* Strong attention to detail, and someone who cares about doing the job properly.
