Process Operator – Permanent Position
Location: Bristol
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Up to £33K + Overtime + Benefits
Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:00, Fri 07:30–12:30
Our client, a long-established engineering company in North Bristol, are expanding its operations and looking for a Process Operator to join their skilled team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
You will work across a range of manual and special processes within the manufacturing workflow, including:
Assembly of aerospace components, fasteners, and inserts
Deburring, finishing, and sharp edge operations
Pressure testing using pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Part marking (Dot Peen, Ink Jetting, Chemi-Etching, Vibro-Etching)
Degreasing and ultrasonic cleaning
Manual tapping of threaded holes
Supporting loading/unloading of heat treatment furnaces
Other tasks as directed by management
Full training will be provided – ideal for candidates eager to learn and grow within the industry.
️ Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with deburring tools and techniques
Understanding of abrasive wheels and deburring media
Familiarity with basic assembly processes
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings
Understanding of part marking processes
Working knowledge of 5S principles
Previous experience in an aerospace or high-precision environment
