Production Operative - Renewable Energy
Location: Essex
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time on an 8-Hour Shift Rotation
Alecto Recruitment is currently working with a well-established and growing Renewable Energy company in search of a motivated and experienced Production Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation at a COMAH site in Essex.
Job Overview
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and follow on-site Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) systems.
Perform both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Ensure all health and safety protocols are met to the highest standard.
Complete technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Take on Operator duties as needed.
Assist site management and support team members with plant operations.Requirements:
Previous experience in Renewable Energy, Power Generation, or a similar industrial sector.
HSE qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
Ideally a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.About You:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused individual with a background in a heavy industrial setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
