Our engineering client who has been going through a period of sustained growth currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Planner.
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring material availability, and collaborating with key stakeholders to optimise workflow processes. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain efficient production schedules to meet demand and optimise resource use.
* Load accurate work into operations, ensuring capacity planning is balanced.
* Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams to align schedules and prevent bottlenecks.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
* Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
* Support the transition from MS Dynamics to EFACS, ensuring data accuracy and process alignment.
* Work with stakeholders to refine processes and improve overall production performance.
* Generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
* Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in sales demand or production constraints.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
We are looking for planners with proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment and excellent knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
