Job Description
£40k + Bonus.
Successful FMCG business require an experienced Production Shift Manager to help galvanise a talented team.
As the Production Shift Manager, you will lead and drive performance across your shift in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will report into the Factory Manager and will manage a Team of circa 50 people on shift.
The role is Mon – Fri (9am – 5pm).
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement production processes, adjusting as needed.
* Oversee factory operations during shifts, ensuring smooth production
* Reduce waste and optimize cost efficiency in production
* Analyse performance data to drive improvements.
* Identify training and development needs
* Ensure all contact with customers internal or external are conducted in a professional manner
The candidate:
* Should have more than 4 years supervisory experience in a similar role, ideally within Food Manufacturing.
* Should be a confident leader with a strong presence on the factory floor.
* Experience with HACCP, allergens, and food processing systems.
* Ideally knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
* Proven ability to develop a team.
* Good communicator – keep on top of KPI’s
