Job Description
Production Supervisor - Evening Shift Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12 Midnight.
We are a recruiting for a growing food manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality products with a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation. We are looking for a hands-on, motivated Production Supervisor or Team Leader to lead and develop the production team on evening shift.
Job Summary
As a Production leader you will be responsible for supervising a team of 7 production operatives on evening shift (4pm - 12) You will ensure that daily production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a company with growth plans in mind.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of 7 production operatives to meet daily and weekly production targets.
* Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on the production floor.
* Coordinate production activities to ensure product quality and efficiency.
* Troubleshoot issues as they arise, minimising downtime.
* Train, motivate, and assess staff performance to ensure optimal productivity.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
* Complete and maintain production records and reports.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
Requirements
* Proven leadership experience in a supervisory / Team Lead role within a food manufacturing or similar environment.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
