Salary: Circa £30k Dependant on Experience
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm
Purpose of the Production Supervisor Role:
Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and develop a team across six busy production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business in Hull, where you will play a key role in driving performance, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive, solutions-focused team environment.
Key Responsibilities for a Production Supervisor:
Lead, motivate and develop the production team across 6 production lines to consistently achieve KPIs.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
Work closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager to implement and execute daily production plans.
Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to avoid downtime and maintain output.
Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity on the shop floor.
Ensure accurate use and updating of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to meet production targets.
Key Requirements for a Production Supervisor:
Proven experience in a Production Supervisor role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong people leadership and team development skills.
Hands-on approach - willing to be on the shop floor, lead by example and get stuck in.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and results-driven mindset.
Confident problem solver with the ability to think on your feet and take initiative.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
