About the Role
Our client, a leading global supplier within the food, beverage, and nutrition industries, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at their Aylesford site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and compliance while leading and developing a team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the successful completion of production schedules and daily shift plans.
* Monitor batch documentation at each stage to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain adherence to internal and customer audit requirements.
* Oversee and support Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations.
* Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.
* Manage production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
* Control agency staffing levels, ensuring coverage aligns with operational needs.
* Attend meetings and participate in process improvement projects.
* Drive a culture of health & safety, hygiene, and quality compliance.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience managing a small to medium-sized team within a food production environment.
* Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience in project management and process improvement.
* Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure.
* Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
