Excellent opportunity for a Programme Commercial Manager to join UK Government's transport department on an initial 6 month contract
Working with the Programme Director, you will be responsible for the contract strategy for multiple projects and will also develop a procurement strategy for the Programme.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing a Commercial Strategy for the management and control of the Programme across multiple projects.
Developing a Procurement Strategy for the Programme
Agreeing the appropriate supplier engagement model for each work package in the Programme.
Managing the deployment of commercial resources within the Programme
Lead the management and resolution of legal and/or commercial disputes
Key experience required:
Extensive Commercial management experience
Experience of resolution of contract disputes and robust post contract management
Relevant commercial transport/ rail experience
Knowledge of commercial contract management and estimating
Multiple office locations across the UK are available
3 days per week in the office
