Role Overview:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the management and execution of engineering projects across the site, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Projects will vary in scope and include site upgrades, production line improvements, and general infrastructure enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and deliver engineering projects from concept through to completion
*
Oversee site-based improvements and enhancements to manufacturing and production lines
*
Manage and coordinate contractors and third-party suppliers
*
Source materials, equipment, and services as needed for each project
*
Produce RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) and conduct thorough risk assessments
*
Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental standards
*
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Occasionally travel to other company sites to support wider project activity
Candidate Requirements:
*
Qualified engineer (mechanical or electrical discipline)
*
Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing or engineering environment
*
Strong understanding of engineering principles and site-based project delivery
*
Experience producing RAMS and conducting risk assessments
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
*
Willingness to travel occasionally to other UK sites
