We are proud to represent a respected geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based in Warwick, currently seeking a Project Engineer with 1-3 years of industry experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across site investigation, project delivery, and technical reporting within a highly regarded consultancy setting.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, technically experienced team delivering ground investigation projects across a range of sectors, including residential developments, commercial, industrial projects, educational facilities (e.g., schools), and environmentally-led schemes. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional to build broad, hands-on experience in both field and office-based work, with strong opportunities for progression and continued development.
Project Engineer Job Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to travel to sites as needed
BSc (or higher) in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or a related subject
1-3 years' experience within a geotechnical or geo-environmental consultancy
Practical experience with ground investigation and site supervision
Familiarity with soil and rock logging, sampling techniques, and in-situ testing
Basic report writing and project administration skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Project Engineer Salary & Benefits
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Approximately 60% of the role is site-based, with additional pay for site days and overtime, averaging £3,000 to £4,000 extra annually.
