Job Opportunity: Project Manager/Contracts Manager (Flooring or Tiling) – London & M25 Area
Ideal for a Site Manager or Supervisor looking to progress
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Location: ESSEX
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime and weekend work available)
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role:
Hawkes Resourcing Group is working with a leading flooring contractor to recruit a Project Manager with experience in flooring or tiling. This position is ideal for an established Site Manager or Supervisor ready to step up into project/contract management.
Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Plan and manage site teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations
*
Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with specification and industry standards
*
Health & Safety: Enforce on-site compliance with all safety regulations
*
Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients and project managers to maintain timelines and budgets
*
Resource Management: Oversee materials, labour, and tools to ensure efficiency and productivity
*
Reporting: Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience in flooring or tiling site supervision
*
Strong knowledge of flooring systems, materials, and installation techniques
*
Tiling experience highly desirable
*
SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS card required
*
Trade qualifications or proven hands-on experience as a floor layer/fitter preferred
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
