Job Description
Our client is a leading civil engineering and building contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors. Their expertise spans from deep drainage systems to external hard landscaping and full groundworks services. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting
* Oversee day-to-day project operations, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
* Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the civil engineering or building contracting sectors.
* Proven track record managing groundworks projects, including deep drainage systems and external hard landscaping
* Experience working on projects across a variety of sectors is highly desirableBefore You Apply
