Job Title: Project Manager – Engineering Projects
Location: Yateley
Salary: £65,000 (depending on experience)
A leading technology company is looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee large-scale engineering projects within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge commercial products used in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage and deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to production.
* Align engineering outputs with operational capabilities and customer requirements.
* Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal processes.
* Lead internal collaboration and support supplier engagement.
* Contribute to project trials and product testing—expect to be hands-on when needed.
* Represent the project team in internal reviews and customer discussions.
Who We’re Looking For
* 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in engineering-heavy sectors like automotive, aviation, or manufacturing.
* Engineering degree and hands-on experience in an engineering environment (electro-mechanical systems preferred).
* A qualified project manager (APM or PRINCE2 essential).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
* Confident managing compliance, including EMC standards, and overseeing supplier relationships.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you're engaging, solution-focused, and unafraid to get involved beyond your desk.
