Derbyshire (Hybrid working, 2–3 days onsite)

We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Project Manager to join a growing engineering business delivering bespoke, high-value capital projects across the UK and internationally.
This is a hybrid working opportunity based in Derbyshire and ideal for someone confident managing multiple concurrent projects — from technical scoping and stakeholder engagement through to supplier coordination and final delivery.
If you're experienced in delivering complex engineering or manufacturing projects and love variety, ownership, and cross-functional teamwork — this role offers genuine long-term opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage multiple customer projects, each with unique technical and commercial requirements
*
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules
*
Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
*
Track project KPIs and budget performance, while managing risk and change effectively
*
Ensure the project team delivers against agreed milestones
*
Keep all parties updated with clear, professional communication
*
Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally as required
What You’ll Bring:
*
Proven experience delivering multi-phase projects in an engineering or technical environment
*
Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills
*
Strong communication – confident presenting project updates internally and to customers
*
High attention to detail and accountability for project outcomes
*
Proficient with MS Project, Excel, CRM/ERP systems
*
Ideally holds a Project Management qualification (Prince2, APM, PMP or equivalent)
