Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Life Assurance + Annual Leave
Fawkes and Reece are assisting one of the UK's leading fit-out specialists who have an energetic, ambitious team delivering high profile Cat A and Cat B commercial interiors. The company are currently delivering a major £250 million traditional fit-out and the team are growing. They are seeking an intermediate project Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is ready to contribute to award-winning work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial delivery of Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects (£5m to £30m, with some up to £50m)
Work closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and high quality delivery
Oversee subcontractor procurement,contract administration, valuations and variations
Provide accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and budget management
Skills & Experience Required
3 - 8 year's experience in Quantity Surveying within commercial build
Strong contractual and commercial knowledge (NEC, JCT etc.)
Background working with either main or subcontractors
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
