Job Description
Project Quantity Surveyor - Derby
Project Quantity Surveyor - We are looking for a proactive Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial success of diverse and high-profile construction projects for a reputable UK contractor.
Duties:
*
Manage the day-to-day commercial activities on assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate cost control and reporting.
*
Assist in the preparation and submission of valuations, variations, and final accounts in line with contractual requirements.
*
Work closely with site and design teams to ensure cost-effective procurement and efficient project delivery.
Experience:
*
Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment, ideally on projects ranging from £5m to £30m.
*
Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as JCT and NEC, and solid understanding of construction processes.
*
Strong numerical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
