Job Description
We currently seeking an experienced PSV Engineering Manager based in or around the High Wycombe area. Previous experience must include working with PSV, PCV, Bus, Coach or HGV / Heavy Vehicle.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
* Service Delivery - to deliver a safe, reliable, and quality product to our customers
* Safety – to uphold standards and behaviours across the depot and ensure compliance with company policy.
* Value & Efficiency – to ensure that all vehicle & property maintenance activity is delivered in line with budget wherever possible · People – to lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring that all staff are motivated, competent, and well equipped to perform their role effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* C&G / NVQ L3 Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
* Ability to gain Transport Manager CPC qualification
* Commitment to undertake further training to enhance the job role
* Strong awareness and understanding of risk assessments, H&S practices, DVSA & DfT standards
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and heavy/commercial vehicle maintenance procedures
* Knowledge of automotive electrics & diagnostics
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to learn bespoke IT systems
* Full manual driving licence
* Ability to gain a PCV licence
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
* Transport Manager CPC qualification
* Additional relevant qualification(s) arising from further / higher education
* Membership of a relevant professional bodies (e.g. CILT, SOE)
* IOSH qualification or equivalent
* PCV License
Competent in using digital asset management/maintenance software
* Understanding of 5S principles
In return, this position is offering:
A competitive salary of up to £70,000 with a discretionary 10% annual bonus based on a number of defined criteria.
