As our Teacher of Psychology, joining us in September 2025, with a significant leadership role in A-Level Psychology, you will:
* Lead and Inspire: Take a lead role in the delivery and development of the Psychology curriculum at both GCSE and A-Level, inspiring high-achieving students, particularly at Key Stage 5, to reach their full academic potential and fostering a school-wide appreciation for psychological inquiry.
* Shape Curriculum Innovation: Have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Psychology curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, the use of contemporary research, and exploring psychological concepts relevant to the experiences within the Havering community, with a focus on the demands of A-Level.
* Mentor and Guide: Act as a role model and mentor for students with a passion for Psychology, fostering their aspirations for further study and careers in psychology and related fields, particularly guiding our A-Level students towards university success.
* Collaborate with a Dedicated Social Sciences Team: Work alongside a team of experienced and passionate educators, sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the department, with a key focus on the delivery of an outstanding A-Level Psychology program.
