Sharp are collaborating with a fantastic Barnsley-based manufacturing business on a brand-new opportunity for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role of a Purchase Ledger Clerk covers a range of duties which are viewed as essential to the businesses’ financial function. To succeed in this role, you should be confident in your existing skills with a willingness to learn and have a positive attitude that energises your team.
Your duties are as follows:

Process high volume/value purchase invoices
*
Support finance team by accurately updating Excel spreadsheets
*
Assist with weekly payment runs
*
Ensure any other payments are paid on time, aligning with business policies
*
Reconciling statements on a regular basis

Experience working within cross-functional teams

Proficient in a range of financial systems – intermediate-level Excel experience is preferred
