Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver outstanding Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach coding, programming (e.g., Python), algorithms, computational thinking, and IT theory
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Promote digital literacy, online safety, and the responsible use of technology
Contribute to curriculum planning and development of digital learning initiatives
Support school-wide digital engagement through clubs, projects, or enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Have a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and up-to-date technical skills
Be confident using a variety of programming languages and digital tools
Be committed to inclusive education and supporting students of all abilities
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be a team player who is proactive, reflective, and passionate about innovation in education
