Owen Daniels are supporting a leading Manufacturing (Automoitve and Aerospace) in recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Location: Redditch
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.
Benefits: Excellent benefits incuding early finish Friday, excellent training & progression, holiday & pension.

Based in Redditch, our company is known for delivering high-quality engineered products and solutions to a diverse and global customer base. Due to continued success and business growth, we are now looking to add a hands-on Quality Engineer to our team.
The Role:
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across our operations. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor
Monitor and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
Perform internal audits and support customer and third-party audits
Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters
Produce and maintain quality documentation including FAIRs and PPAPs
Support production with day-to-day quality issues and provide training where necessaryRequirements:
Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within automotive, aerospace or a related manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Whys, Ishikawa)
Experience with measurement tools and techniques (CMM experience desirable)
Good communication skills and ability to work across departments
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related disciplineWhat We Offer:
